The Founder

I started Manea Skin in 2015, at the age of 24, working from home as a side hustle while managing a full-time job, raising my son as a solo mother, caring for my mum and helping support my younger siblings.

My background is Cook Island – Polynesian (Dad) and Australian (Mum). I am one of 10 siblings and now have 2 children. Growing up in a large family taught me the value of hard work, resilience, family and perseverance. We didn't have much growing up, but I witnessed firsthand the sacrifices my parents made to provide for us and installed the importance of sacrifice in us.

When I lost my dad at seventeen years old, I knew I wanted to create something that would honour him, my culture and our roots. In the Cook Islands, my culture. For me, Manea represents the strength, resilience, confidence and beauty that exists within every woman.

When I discovered Face and Body Contouring in 2015, something clicked. As a mother who had struggled with body confidence myself, I knew I had found my passion and purpose. What began with one machine and a dream, quickly grew into something much bigger.

Manea Skin grew from that passion, from wanting every woman who walks through those doors to feel supported, understood and proud of the skin she is in.

Today, Manea Skin is more than a beauty business. It is a community driven brand empowering women to take charge of their health, confidence and future.

Through our treatments, masterclasses, mentorship and franchise opportunities, we are helping women build confidence, create financial independence and serving our Beauty CEOs.

The journey hasn't always been easy. Over the years, there have been many challenges, setbacks, sacrifices and obstacles. But every challenge taught me something valuable. Every setback became a lesson and every obstacle became an opportunity for growth. Instead of focusing on what stood in my way, I focused on what I could build.

Today, 11 years later, Manea Skin stands for more than beauty and body contouring.
